Long Range Shooting Private 1 Day Classes

Welcome to Precision Rifle Training with Mid-America Marksman Institute, where we specialize in tailoring our expertise to your individual needs. Our private one-on-one classes are designed to provide personalized instruction, allowing you to maximize your potential in long-range hunting. Whether we conduct the training at Twin Peaks Rifle Range in Medicine Lodge, KS, or on your personal property (provided it meets safety requirements and allows for shooting at a minimum of 600 yards, although 1,000 yards is preferred), you can expect a tailored experience designed to elevate your skills to new heights. Below, you’ll find an outline crafted specifically for your private session.

Class is 1 day or 8 hours long. Property must be with in 75 miles of  Wichita, KS

Class hours are 0900-1800 (1 hour lunch break)

Advanced Shooting Techniques:

• Together, we’ll fine-tune your marksmanship fundamentals, focusing on consistency and precision in long-range shooting.
• I’ll teach you how to effectively manage wind drift and mirage, providing observation and adjustment techniques to enhance your accuracy.
• We’ll work on engaging moving targets with confidence, equipping you with advanced tactics for challenging shooting conditions.

Rifle Set-Up:

• We’ll ensure your scope setup meets your specific needs, addressing considerations such as eye relief and reticle choice to optimize your shooting experience.
• I’ll guide you through stock considerations and barrel and trigger differences, helping you understand how each component contributes to your rifle’s performance.

Fundamentals:

• Together, we’ll establish your proper shooter position and interface with the rifle, focusing on trigger control, breathing techniques, and target acquisition for consistent accuracy.
• I’ll introduce you to the concept of natural point of aim and its importance in maintaining a balanced rifle.

Zeroing:

• We’ll meticulously check and adjust your rifle zero, ensuring it’s dialed in for your specific setup and preferences.
