Pick Up Your Firearm: After completing your order and selecting an FFL dealer, you'll need to follow specific procedures to pick up your firearm legally:

a. Gun Arrival: Track the shipment of your firearm through the provided tracking information. Once it arrives at the FFL dealer's location, contact the dealer to schedule a transfer appointment. Be sure to pick up your firearm within two weeks of its arrival.

b. Gun Inspection: Thoroughly inspect the firearm at the FFL dealer's location before accepting it. If the firearm is incorrect or damaged upon arrival, do not take possession and contact Customer Service. After the transfer, any warranty or repair work must be coordinated directly with the manufacturer.

c. NICS Check: To legally take possession of the firearm, you must pass a National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS Check) conducted by the FFL dealer. The NICS Check ensures that you are eligible to own a firearm.

d. Documentation: Bring your driver's license with you when picking up the firearm. Additionally, some states or locations may require additional documentation or licenses for gun ownership. Verify your local laws to ensure you have all the necessary paperwork.

e. Transfer Fees: Be aware that most FFL dealers charge a transfer fee for their services. You can check the online FFL Finder tool or contact your selected FFL dealer for information about their fees.

Buying a gun online can be a straightforward and legal process when done correctly. By following these steps, you can ensure that you make a legal and safe purchase while enjoying the convenience of online shopping.
